Hankies at the ready…
The football season comes to an end this weekend for the major European leagues. If you are a football bettor or trader, what are your plans for keeping the betting bank afloat over the summer? Tennis, perhaps? For members of www.drt.club, I have been doing a bit of tennis trading at the Rome Masters this week.
I would recommend tennis trading to you as a summer alternative to the football. I have written about this numerous times in What Really Wins Money… tennis trading is simple.
Wait for a big name to be backed into a corner – maybe a set and a break of serve down – then keep the faith and back said big name to redeem themselves.
It really is as simple as that.
This website – http://www.atpworldtour.com/en/tournaments – relays to you the abundance of tennis over the summer. There is money to be made folks! In eletters to come, I will be sharing past examples of profitable trades in the tennis to show you how easy it can be. So watch out for that.
Short odds as an investment?
I received a lot of correspondence regarding last week’s eletter and I hope the results that I forwarded to those who asked, convinces you that short odds can equal profit.
The selection strategies I showed last week are all in profit, currently. I do tend to view the reliability or otherwise of an idea over at least a calendar year, so we shall see if there is longevity. I am convinced, though, that target profit per race, and the Place market, can produce those profits over the long-term.
Here’s a nice introductory (and free) introduction to tennis trading: https://caanberry.com/tennis-trading-strategies/.
I agree with Mr Berry (I wonder if he is related to Mary Berry and, if so, can he get me the recipe for her rather wonderful raspberry flan?) about his three main tennis trading areas. The one I like best is the over-reactions to points lost.
Enjoy the end of the season, and for those of you supporting teams in play-offs or with relegation in mind, Kleenex are doing a buy-one-get-one-free at our local supermarket. Email me and I’ll get some tissues for you.
