Another year, another festival.
Today marks the end of another Cheltenham festival and it’s been a tough puzzle to solve.
Do make sure you visit my twitter @whatreallywins today as I check the market and give you the stats that matter.
I’ve actually had some luck with other-than-Cheltenham meetings this week, bagging some decent winners and placed horses (I always advocate each-way betting where possible).
The key to success is in reading the markets. A good example? On the 12th March there was a horse called Many Stars in the 415 Huntingdon.
In the racing Post betting forecast this horse was 5/1. In the live betting market the horse went off at 5/4 favourite. It had leap-frogged 2 other horses into favouritism.
The horse duly won by 12 lengths.
This is one simple effective market reading technique I employ to dig out “apparent” gambles. Hopefully I can guide a few more winners and placed horses your way at 130pm today @whatreallywins

Well I raid my DRT vaults and share a superb technique I use in my live chats to point DRT’ers in the direction of football teams you can back at odds of 25/1 who have an excellent chance of winning!
The Statman has come up with a very profitable lay system based around placed horses in handicaps. This one looks exciting and I’ll be following it at www.whatreallywinsmoney.co.uk with interest.
The Patriarch gives us his Grand National pick, as well as a cracking little betting season for the up-and-coming Flat season.
Lucy Collins introduces us to Sports Arbritrage betting and discusses the positives and negatives. Is Sports arbitrage betting a worthwhile endeavour? Well it could be, if you know where to look!
I share with you the 6 key factors for Grand National success in April, and take a look at the principle of high-risk high reward staking plans. These staking plans warrant your attention I think as they can out-perform level stakes betting by a factor of 2 or 3!
There’s plenty for readers to get stuck into that’s for sure.

I’ll see you on twitter @whatreallywins at 130pm sharp. Let’s see if we can bag a few winners and placed horses this afternoon.
I’m off now to research squillions of football matches for the coming weekend, wish me luck!
