It's a tear jerker this week, folks. A WRWM reader has helped twin brothers reunite for the first time in their lives, and they both lived on the South Coast. I am wiping a tear from my eye as I write this and we're ready for a TV Special.
Beware of these betting scam doppelgangers!
Take a look at these 2 brochures and you'll see what I mean. These identical twins have been living their lives as Scott Pinnell and Richard Morris. One lives in Chichester, the other in Weymouth. I mean, what are the chances of that?
There is a more sinister side to all of this of course which I explain here (incidentally this is the new website - it's a work in progress!)
Suffice to say, these two services are scams, indeed Mr. Morris is using tips produced by price-power, a reputable tipping service I've spoken about in the past in the annals of WRWM, and passing these on as his own. These long lost twins are a bad bunch! And this should serve as a warning to you that you must do a degree of due diligence
And on a happier note, I promised to start my football series this week, as the season draws to a close. Yes, ahem, great timing, but to be honest, an ideal time to prepare for the Euros and an assault on next season.
And the first port of call is research. And I've made a video specific to researching football league matches which are available at soccerstats. Take a look at the video. You'll find it very instructive.
Now this betting research template covers everything to do with a football match, from the Match Odds market, to Correct Score, Goals Markets, even goalscorers. In depth research like this also covers Football Trading and can provide clues regarding which halves are likely to see goals, indeed when a goal should be expected.
If you diligently apply this research template to all in play football matches, you will instantly get an accurate overview of a specific league match, from a form perspective. And those 4 words are key. We only get a snapshot based on form. Of course we are dealing with a team of 11 individuals, each of which would be playing " in the zone" on that particular day, and scupper the form.
Overall though, form is a great basis in which to look at football league matches. Why? Well, it forms the back bone of Bookmaker market makers. And if our indepth form analysis contradicts the market, then we can back our judgement and in some instances profit from a view contrary to the market.
And when there are non league matches, we do non league specific research. I am talking about Internationals (the Euros perhaps?), the Champions League, Europa League, and domestic cup competitions. soccerway is an ideal stopping point for other than league competitions as it can specialise form by competition. The enclosed video shows how to research cup competitions.
The Betting Research Templates cover league matches and cup matches and can be found at bettingresearch.
I'm off now to book Esther Rancid to present my TV Special on reuniting Identical Twins. And bring a hanky everybody, it's gonna be emotional!
