This week has seen the final pieces to my February WRWM Cheltenham jigsaw fit into place. For anyone going to the Festival or viewing it on the box, February’s WRWM will give you plenty of pointers. Why not tune in to Newbury to see some of the main contenders in action this afternoon?
So far in the newsletter, Andrew David has provided a superb article uncovering his each way tips for all 4 days of the Festival along with sound reasoning. Each way betting netted his followers 34 points profit at last year’s Festival. It’s a tough act to follow!
As Andrew himself argues so convincingly, each way betting and Cheltenham are really made for each other.
Another stalwart at WRWM, our new Statman puts forward some strong statistical arguments for laying certain favourites at the Festival. History can point us to likely future trends and that is what Sean Trivass has done.
The Patriarch has even caught the Cheltenham bug and puts forward an interesting bet that we can try and strike with the bookies, a tip of his own for the Festival Banker, and a Racing Post ratings specific betting system which can be applied to the races at the Festival in the hope of unravelling top rated, previous winners who are likely to perform again.
Also to be confirmed, the guys with their fingers on the stable gossip, www.bettertipster.co.uk will be providing their take on some of the major races at the Festival too.

What Really Wins Money
I do hope we can replicate last year’s performances.
At Cheltenham the live market is king.
And this is something I will be showing you next week. There are 3 main markets we need to focus on (well there’s the Tote too but not in this instance).
With these 3 weapons I want to show you next week how you can uncover market movers for the Cheltenham Festival. You’ll know instantly the horses who are being backed on the day. This is something you can use for the 4 days of the Festival and on into the future. This might go out as a special bonus piece next week.
DUE DILIGENCE WORKS
I was heartened to hear from a reader who had questioned some claims made by Roger Dalton Racing (has the lead singer of the Who has changed his name slightly and entered the world of Horse racing tipsters?)
The specific claim was that Mr Dalton proofs his selections to the Racing Post. So, said reader emailed the Racing Post who answered:
“Further to our previous email we can confirm that Roger Dalton Racing does not proof selections to the Racing Post and as far as we are aware, it has never done so in the past.
We hope this information is helpful.
Kind regards,
James Crompton
Racing Post Customer Services”
With that in mind, how taken are you now by Mr Dalton’s other claims?
I personally have mentioned the ideal of archived results and recent results. A visit to http://rogerdalton.co.uk/dispatcher.php?page=PublicRes will relay wholly unsatisfactory results. No archived results merely “Recent results as per our brochure” – not good enough.
I for one will certainly not be joining this service. He might deliver long term, but there is nothing I can look at to instil any confidence in a purchase.
And beware those words “proofed to the Racing Press” or “proofed to the Racing Post”. What is “the Racing Press” anyway? I exercise my right not to get involved with this service which provides inadequate proof of historical results and current performance.
Take nothing on face value, particularly with horse racing tipster offers via brochure.
FOOTBALL RESEARCH TASTIC!
We will be shortly trialling a football research “product” which will be free for you lucky readers for a limited period. And in return we just want feedback in order to see if there is any improvements we can make. I am finalising the idea as I write and we will be focussing specifically on Football matches that are on terrestrial or Sky TV. 2 of us will be researching the match.
Specifically we’ll be doing all the dirty work so you don’t have to! It will not be a football tipping service per se, rather a look at the form for teams and ideas, based on form, of angles into the betting markets. I hope to update you next Friday.
SYSTEMS WANTED
I have procured the services of an outstanding system tester who is more thorough than Kim and Aggie. So if you have a betting system who think is marketable, then get in touch and my super thorough tester will go through it and trial it for you.
AND AFORE YE GO....
I’m off now to apply for the Wolves job, and if I don’t get that, the Chelsea job, and if I don’t get that, the England job.
