In response to a number of emails I received from eletter readers recently, after initially mentioning correct score permutations in a pre season eletter, I have tracked down 2 articles I wrote. In this special eletter I share both strategies which have served me very well.

I began a discussion last eletter regarding each way betting and why it should at least be given a nod of recognition for horse racing backers as a method of preserving the betting bank (we get some or all of our stake returned after a selection places and of course profit in the win and place market for a winner).

Each way is the best way seems to be the general consensus amongst What Really Wins Money contributors to this August's newsletter. Here's a quick look at what we discuss in August's edition.

Yes, the football theme continues this week, only one day before those overpaid primadonnas skip their way onto Premiership club pitches throughout the country.

Yes, there have already been ample enhanced trading opportunities in Europa League, Champions League, and of course the World Cup. Let me take you through a few enhanced bets yesterday.

There are 3 words that tend to crop up time and time again when I look at the 'Legacy and Saver', and those words are: Long term profit.

Last week’s eletter introduced you to a number of specific strategies and techniques for profiting in this coming football season and I hope that you will at least attempt some of them this new season.

If you’re at all interested in laying you won’t want to miss this. Lay Profit Alert's results have gone up £3,669 since January this year and looks on course to hit £11,477 by the start of next year.

Lay Profit Alert from Kev Lane has a rare credibility because it's one of the few services I've come across that has provided consistent low-risk gains over the past 3 years.

Well, it's preseason friendlies and pre season meaningless tournament time! Yes, folks, utterly meaningless football matches pervade in utterly made up tournaments which are little more than money generating exercises.

Yes, folks, I have been outdone by a psychic cephalopod this World Cup.

Every now and then, I get an email that really stands out, and I will recount it here...

I had a version of the famous Three Lions song ready incase my World Cup picks, Slovenia, produced a result against England the other day.

Well it's here, finally. The one you've all been waiting for. The hottest ticket in town. Yes the Krankies reunion tour of the UK is about to get under way, with special guests Sue Pollard and TedBovis, Keith Harris and Orville and the evergreen Lionel Blair.

The easy way to manipulate Betfair screenshots - exposed...

Spread Your Net Wide and Profit From Laying Odds on Shots

Phil “the Power” Taylor was imperious. And now with the BDO Lakeside darts in progress, it has been great to see Ted “the Count” Hankerchief and other fine specimens of sportsmanship battle on the oche. And of course, the Lakeside would not be the same without Frank Sidebottom in the audience.

I wrote a review of 2009 in November’s What Really Wins Money and I hope you found it useful. What did I discover this year?

I just want to give you a heads up because I received a lot of emails asking about my 'one-bet-a-day' service after mentioning it in Friday's eletter.

Yes, it’s that time again when I urge you to try out enhanced football trading, as I made another pretty penny this week with a good few shock early leads

The foolproof £25 a day online roulette system is a new release from Clive Davenport.

The key to success with landing such a big odds treble is...

Oh what a painful week it’s been for my Irish neighbours!

Another return to enhanced betting this week and I do hope that you have taken this strategy on board...

There are many ways to make a buck in this horse racing game...Back to win, back to place, or even back to lose!

Yes, this week I got a glimpse into how the jet set multimillionaire's live.

No not a tribute to be-wigged songstress Tina Turnips, ex lover of Graham Taylor.

Remember my idea on each way jumps betting I had last week?

The jumps season is now with us and there are a number of betting strategies we can use to profit with.

No, I haven't been invited to the relaunch of Irish Super Group Bewitched, I am of course referring to a quite superb Arc de Triumph of Sea The sSars

I want to focus in this issue on enhanced football betting...

No, I'm not talking about the 4th installment of Lord of the Rings. Let me translate...

Well the week started on a low with the death of young jockey Jamie Kyne.

There are 3 systems that have piqued my interest though and which I'm more than happy to spend time reviewing.

Yes, I had to chuckle this week as my close showbiz pal, and punter's friend, Jamie " Frank" Spencer was left in the starting stalls. So there was Frank on board New Christmas, the hot 8/13 favourite for the 550 Yarmouth on Monday.

Yes, folks, the wait is over. No I'm not talking about the imminent release of the Encyclopaedia Brookesanicus this week ( all you need to know about everything, for only £37!), I am of course talking about the Premiership kick off tomorrow. Hooray!

Yes, guess what - another £37 eBook which promises to catapult us into the Sunday Times Rich List sold by all of the affiliates in the world.

Less than 12 hours to go!

Yes, I have my hands on the betting miracle and quite frankly, it is simply a mixture of price gapping, using the fit, fancied and in form analogy and some very basic and old formulae.

"I have tried a few different trading systems over the past few years, and I would like to congratulate you on such a fantastic system. Anyone who doubts that this can work needs their head read!"

As you saw last week with AD Associates there are clues there which hint at potential flaws in the mailing piece which may help you decide whether this is just another load of rubbish or if indeed, there is some real potential here.

Keith Cotterill's wildly popular Ultimate FX Predictor trading course will be closing its doors to new members from midnight Friday 31st July.

No doubt many of you will have received what can only be described as a thoroughly professional mailing piece from AD Associates regarding the Bill Harris system..

"Due to massive demand the doors will close on this proven Forex trading system at midnight, Friday 31st July - reserve your place today and avoid missing out!"

My focus this week again has been purely, from a betting perspective, with live market reading. I hope those who have followed the live chat have benefitted greatly. They will have noticed the following I am sure - 2 key elements to success...

With this new 'live chat' facility on my blog you can get the most up to date information on market movers and Smoke & Mirrors and 16/1 system bets from the horse's mouth.

PLEASE would those who consented to join the trial provide me with some feedback -that's the whole point of a trial. It will take you a minute or so just to give your initial impressions, and perhaps your suggestions.

'Smoke & Mirrors' from Anthony Greenaway continues to impress me. If you haven't already, I highly recommend you take a look at this strategy.

It's been a long wait, but the doors have now reopened on our very own Lay Profit Alert service. I sent you a mention about this yesterday, but I just thought it worth a quick reminder.

If you want a lay betting service that is proven to make money over the long term, then please read this email very carefully...

I've got something very exciting for you at the end of this email, but first... You can tell we're coming to the end of the football season by a quick glance at your local fixed odds coupon..

Following on from Chelsea last week there was yet another chance to back a team priced at 1/3 before the match, at 5/2 in running (a great value bet surely?)

It's always worth chancing the unexpected occurring, especially when that team is Barcelona with its inherent quality! The upside of this kind of betting is HUGE and the outlay minimal!

Incidentally, for those who like enhanced betting, how about 1/100 shot Kopenhagen (mentioned on the blog) trading at 1.3 after going a goal down.

The Protege System from Tony Gibson is waiting to be started. I have, of course read it, and its focus is a unique one. The killer combo for this system are the trainer and the OWNER!

I am aware some people are actually backing to level stakes, while others are operating the compounding target profit per day, and it must be noted that there are significant differences in selection. Take one day this week.

Yes folks, it must be April, because it's Grand National weekend, the time when everyone becomes a horse-racing expert. It's those who choose a horse because they like its name, or the jockey's silks colour, who'll more than likely be winning!

Yes, after months of toiling during the winter, praying our selections don't fall, get pulled up, or run out of petrol in heavy ground, it is time to welcome in the Flat season (an altogether more refined affair). Speed is the name of the game.

No, not my words, but the words of thousands of punters gearing up for this new and exciting Flat Season, whose Irish compadres begin today on the all weather at Dundalk.

I have had great success with Binocular, Garde Champetre, Quevarga, Voy Por Estedes, Masterminded, and Punchestowns at a whopping 1.7!

Yes, as we edge ever closer to the magnificent Cheltenham Festival, every tipster and their grandmother is releasing their Cheltenham Previews. Now you have a choice.

Yes folks, it's only a couple of weeks away - the hype - the roar of the crowd before the first race - the shorties - the Denman - the Kauto - the Tommo interviewing some lovely lady who has no clue about horseracing yet has an uncanny ability to pick a 16/1 winner...

Results in a certain price cap have been excellent - that price cap - anything sub 5/1 ,and generally 9/2 , 4/1, 7/3 , 10/3. Plenty of winners over the last few days!

Many thanks for the feedback this week regarding one readers inability to get his £2,000 back from Danny Sullivan after requesting a refund due to poor performance (as is his right IN NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES but this is the Wild West betting industry where no one's watching out for you)

No, not a new reality TV Show but the beginning of the 6 nations Rugby Union. Now I'm sure over the coming weeks there will be some great betting opportunities throughout the tournament.

No doubt you will be made aware of Stephen Brookes' new Betfair Cashbox...

It has been interesting this week in the tennis - the Australian Open. It would seem that those insomniacs among you might like to note the poor performance of short odds women (as opposed to short, odd women like Jeanette Krankie) when they perform over first to 2 sets matches.

These new "offers" of financial salvation should really be viewed with a sceptic's eye.

There are many systems waiting for me at my work PC in Ireland, from Project Betfair, to overs and unders, to the Football Laying Code, to the Golden Systems to MD Professional Sports Betting's new National Hunt Handicap backing system to Bernard Hibbert's Sharp End System, and all stops in between.

I've got some exciting news for you. We've just pulled back the curtain on a VERY clever 'recession proof' way to make money from property (yes property!) during this financial downturn.

In fact, on the compounding front, I have nearly doubled my betting bank which is superb, given the small daily targets, but it just goes to show that if you chip away day after day after day on a consistent and disciplined basis, then the compounding will take care of profit growth.

What a week! I have suddenly received an avalanche of new betting systems and rather than work 23 hours 59 minutes (with 1 minutes sleep) I am doing a shout out for anyone who could forward me Dr Octopus's email address. I need his 3 extra pairs of arms to go through these systems for me.

I was mulling over loss retrieval and short odds this week and had an idea. If our target profit is 1.43%, stakes are very small indeed and losing bets are very rare BUT do occur. For example, I selected Kauto Star to place last Saturday BUT he fell. My stake on Kauto Star to place to win my target profit was £10!

On the betting front, it has been a simple case of focussing on place only betting and compounding this week, and another 100% record for my one-a-days. There are some distinctions I have made this week which have really made the selection strategy a lot more accurate. Check out www.whatreallywinsmoney.com for more.

Yes, folks, I must admit I was in shock to learn that Dean McKeown was to launch his own "odds to" tipping service.

A story in The Racing Post this week proves why you should ignore certain 'experts' at all costs, regardless of the claims they make.

"With all the "SCAM" systems being sold and advertised around the Internet, how can you tell what is a good system, and what is a bad system?

There are over three months still to go – and YOU can start cashing-in on the most reliable and profitable form trends every weekend between now and February. For all 32 teams and all 14 matches every weekend…

Mr Ramos is waking up today after another defeat to Udinese thinking "Why me?" Life really is tough for the £50,000+ per week manager and his £50,000+ per week players. You really do need to feel sorry for them in these recessionary times.

Remember Autolays - the progressive staking laying service? Well this week he hit his 5 in a row. In other words, the 5 horses that were chosen to lay to lose on a ‘stop at a winner’ basis all went on to win their races.

You may recall that Clive gave a positive review of Little Acorns back in the May issue of What Really Wins Money. All you need to get started is your PC, an Internet connection, and the ability to spend 15 to 20 minutes a day following the simple instructions.

Come on, own up, were you tempted by the Betting Virtuoso with its slick American marketing campaign from Larry Donovan (Jason Donovan's Dad?!) I'm afraid I was not tempted, dear reader by the betting breakthrough of the Millennium etc etc... because I sense it is a load of bertie ollocks - and general feedback on forums has confirmed this. The only redeeming features seem to be what you can learn from the pre launch marketing techniques which were excellent!

This has been the main theme of emails received from readers this past week. Colin Davey, his Ned Flanders moustache flowing in the wind, has begun marketing his £96 per month tipping service to mailing lists consisting largely of those new to betting. If he were to market to those with experience, he'd know what the answer is...

Right, this one looks to be a con I'm afraid folks. Readers have independently contacted me and told me they have all received the same letter effectively saying: "sorry your stakes have been lost by Preferential Sporting Investments (PSI)".

No, not the next Lord of the Rings adventure, this was the question I asked this time last year as I first set foot in Kellyarney, County Kelly, and history is repeating itself as the Kerry boys ready themselves for a hatrick of Gaelic Football All Ireland titles this weekend.

Yes the name of a horse but also something I have been saying a lot the last week. You see I'm meeting a nice French girl for lunch down in Killarney today and I have been brushing up on my Inspector Clouseau French for the duration of the lunch. I have also had a crash course from someone called Derek from Peckham who told me to simply say "Beaujolais Rodney beaujolais" - that, and "a bonnet de douche Rodney, a bonnet de douche" which is sure, he guarantees, to impress her. So I am taking him on his word, but will his guarantee be as solid (clears throat) as some of the scoundrels out there in the betting world?

Last week saw a great example of taking your profits when you can (or trading!) in the Cork v Kerry Gaelic semi final last weekend. Kerry were cantering with a few minutes to go yet 2 Cork goals very late on ensured a draw and a replay this weekend. Those who used Betfair and kept their bets in running without taking advantage of trading would be cursing like a Big Brother contestant after a glass of wine as Kerry reached 1.01 yet still drew (£100 stake to win £1!) OUCH! As with the football matches that are in running, it's always wise to green up when you can - lesson learned eh! We don’t know what's going to happen next (at least I don't anymore after I split up with Mystic Meg). I'll still be backing Kerry this weekend BUT will definitely be trading out at a profit. Elsewhere I've got some great reader feedback on systems you may have come across in your inbox. Let's take a quick look at some of the systems which I have had feedback on…

This is the question a nation is asking this weekend as the Tralee Festival is on for the next few days. It's only up the road and may be worth a visit (with my tourist head on).

There are so many different ways to attack the coming footy season. The key, in my opinion, is to find a niche and become an expert in that niche.

Having heard some good feedback regarding The Winning Gap system I have tried to get some info from the readers who bought the system

In preparation for the next newsletter, the focus, given the time of year, will be on football, the season beginning on the 15th August. As mentioned before I want to focus on all of the strategies available to us for this upcoming season, in the following categories...

I've been trying especially to keep tabs on this system over the weeks as it is, for me, a standout from the follow the money /live market genre and another circa 20 point profit last week continues the good run.

Nick Laight here, publisher of WRWM. I've hijacked Clive's e-letter to bring you some exciting news... I'll get straight to the point. Have you ever come across one of those betting systems that just looks too good to be true?...

Well the arrival of pre season friendlies signals the start of the footy season and an opportunity to go headlong with a number of different betting strategies that are on the market over the length of a full season - feel free to help me out if you want! Get in touch. My footie folder is bulging like a Premiership player's wallet.

So the mighty Raj "I were on the telly years ago" Patel and Paul "no I did NOT invent the pickle" Branston are pushing their place only betting methods ebook! So will it be worth purchasing? I don't know. The thing about Raj "I haven't mentioned - I was on TV!" Patel's products is they really are simplicity and profit figures are made to look impressive because he uses £200 and £300 stakes. So a profit of £835 for the week needs to be put into perspective here. IT looks superb if taken at face value, but remember the staking!

It was great to see the Irish Combos I talked about in the last newsletter come good this week. Saturday and Sunday saw a 12/1 winner for Pat Smullen, and Frozen Fire, the standout winner in the Irish Derby at the Curragh at 16/1. There was also a winner a couple of days ago at 10/1 SP. Now this horse was available on Betfair at 19 (18/1) - this is a huge difference and is why, if you do get involved in the less popular (and hence less liquid) Irish Horse racing market, you must use Betfair. Why?...

Blimey, this is slower than a snail climbing Everest! No I'm not talking about Luca Toni, rather it's my broadband out here in the country. It's been a very frustrating week on that front but I hope to change it in the near future. I get in the swing of things then it takes a weekend for one website to be downloaded. The swear jar, you can guess, is overflowing! Well the Euros are coming to a conclusion. I backed Turkey at 9.6 to trade out after they scored first, and laid the draw yesterday in the Spain game. So what's going to happen in the Final? Hmm. It will be very interesting to see the market's take on this and perhaps take my cues from there.

Yes, the usual German efficiency, as is found in my Volkswagen (apart from when it breaks down) was in full force yesterday as they dispatched the Portuguese. I have found during this tournament that laying the draw has proved very productive in perceived "must win" games, especially when a team goes 2-0 up! Enough to make Basil Fawlty love the Germans! It's been a great tournament and Professor Kevin Pullein's observations of few goals in the first round then many goals in the later stages is certainly proving itself to be true.

Here's something I know you're going to like... It's a little tactic called ante post betting and the benefits when done properly can be huge. You see, I've found a proven and trusted source that could regularly hand you bets at odds of 5/1 when it should be Evens... 10/1 when it should be 3/1... or even 33/1 when it should be 7/1... So how's it done?

Away from the intelligent roads, Euro 2008 has taken off this week, with favourites going in left, right and centre. Under 2.5 goal backers had a field day in the first few matches, and I nabbed a nice 9/1 return on 2-0 half time in Spain's first game. My swear jar was overflowing yesterday after Jens Lehmann, the goalkeeping giant, decided to revert to type and scupper a draw no bet I had. Where's Oliver "Chaka" Khan when you need him? Not to worry, I carry a nice 16/1 bet on Croatia to win the tournament. I thought this was highly unlikely after the first game, but confidence is restored!

Yes, Euro 2008 begins tomorrow and those cunning linguists among you will have recognised that, yes, it is a game of 2 halves. I am, though as "Krank als ein Papgei" (sick as a parrot) that England, Ireland and Scotland are not represented, and instead of Peter Crouch, I can now say "Grosse Beruhrung fur einen grossen Mann" (great touch for a big man) when Jan Koller gets the ball for the Czechs. No doubt they'll be saying "Er ist seine Socken heute Abend losgeworden" (he worked his socks of tonight) after Holland played with Dirk Kuyt. Am ende vomTag (at the end of the day) it should be a great tournament and the Racing Post pull out from yesterday's paper is superb as usual.

What a great way to start the fecking working week -2 fecking hours of Billy fecking Connolly on a Monday fecking Night. This should, I think, be fecking compulsive for all Mondays. Perfect for setting the fecking tone for the upcoming week, BUT my tendency now to fecking swear a feck of a lot more has fecking reaffirmed the Big fecking Yin's fecking linguistic influences. I did try placing a spread bet on the amount of "swearies" Billy would include in his show – I went for 500+ and think I might have won although I was too busy laughing to count!

Some people just have no qualms when it comes to the lovely wonga they can make promoting any old crap to their email lists. I spoke about lay 51 operation last week, and this week, a progressive staking calculator under the name of The Betting Machine is doing the affiliate rounds. Now these progressive staking calculators are as old as Menzies Campbell, the old Lib Dem leader (emphasis on the word Old) and the claims made on the bumph is highly misleading.

This little-known loophole allowed you to use Betfair to bet on EVERY outcome in a game of Baccarat and STILL come away with a profit - which sounds far-fetched, I know... but then I saw evidence that people who'd never even played Baccarat before were exploiting this loophole to make tax-free cash online virtually on demand.

I expect you'd have received the affiliate emails for The Lay 51 Operation system - and the website's usual gubbins...Yes, after a tip off, I got my Inspector Poirot moustache waxed and began speaking in a silly Belgian/Inspector Clouseau accent.

Being editor of What Really Wins Money brings some tasty fringe benefits - best of all I get to try out the latest money-making strategies before general release . . . And what I've got my hands on now is an absolute corker! It's called The Ultimate FX Predictor and it completely changes the way you can spread bet Forex (currency) markets...

On the betting front, well did you use the Champions League Cash machine, better known as backing under 2.5 goals in the semi finals (this actually applied well to Rangers matches in the UEFA cup) - so strong is this trend and the trend amongst the teams that this can be approached as a NO trade bet - just bet and go and get a decent return.

Yes Champions League and UEFA Cup again this week and with the away goal rule, under 2.5 goals really is a good bet, and came in all games with relative ease - BUT what chance in the 2nd legs.

The Mafiosi Betfair and Cash Generator systems I got last week are a little complicated at first reading so I have hired a NASA scientist to take me through in preparation for next month's newsletter. My brain hurt at the first sitting. They are probably very simple to follow but the writer's attempt to convey their messages could be a lot easier.

I've taken an interest in the Masters and based my selections on the Racing Post's "experts" and chosen the Flora Man, Retief Goosen, Geoff Ogilvy and Fred Couples each way. The great thing about golf is the huge odds on offer - 25/1 or over for the above each way (pays out 5 the place).

Yes it's that time of year when my Gran forgets about dishy Des on Countdown, or if she were in Ireland, the delightful Daniel O'Donnell with his lovely sweaters, and focuses her mind solely on walloping the bookies in the Grand National. The bookies are fairly shaking in their collective boots. Underhand tactics are afoot amongst the big boys to find out just who my Gran will pick in the National. Will the bookies be able to take the weight of My Gran's £2 wager?

I've put my name to Pegasus Racing Club before and I am even happier to recommend it to you today. Why? Simple. The latest results prove that this is one of the best long-term tipping services around.

An interesting week's trading on the football for followers of the blog - the key question being when to get out. It's all comes down to a time versus profit thing . . .I'll give you 2 examples...

The great thing about the staking plans I have found regarding the 3 into 1 system which turn a level stakes loss into a nice return (far exceeding your traditional bank account and FUND manager) is the size of the stakes to achieve these returns. In one instance, to £1000 bank, the maximum stake at any one time was £40! This is an excellent scenario surely!

Friday is Denman v Kauto Star day today should be a superb spectacle and with the rain arriving it's a difficult choice. Personally I'm on the level stakes dutch - unexciting but a break even if Denman wins and a profit on Kauto.

With Cheltenham in mind I did go to a local hostelry and listen to some "experts" and their opinions. I must say it was nice to meet Jim Culloty, Best Mate's Best Mate in what was an interesting evening out. These events are taking part all over Ireland at present and are extremely popular.

You think you've nailed a great backing system - go public and it turns into the world's best laying system! Yes, 60% gains in January to February for my new 3 into 1 System came to a juddering halt, helped in no small measure by a faller, pulled up (x3), broken blood vessel - you know the rest!

If you want the thrill and potential profits of Forex trading but without any of the drawbacks please take a few minutes to read this email.

Elsewhere this week I've done a kind of audit on the many systems I have tried to select those back and lay systems that I can manage to trial myself. They have largely been chosen for their ease of use and quickness in formulating selections because time is not my best friend!

If you could make at least £25 per hour using this Betfair loophole, how often would you play?

Yes! Valentine's Day was spent with Kelly Brook and I treated her to Chow Mein Pot Noodle from Tescos which she loved. Alas her fiancée Billy InZane tagged along which spoilt the evening somewhat so I decided to follow the UEFA Cup football instead where I was reminded in no uncertain terms that . . .

As far as the football was concerned, yet again a 1.4 match odds bet could have been enhanced by a little look to the half time/full time betting markets for England.

There are some great opportunities not in the head to head matches but in the more exotic bets that are bound to come our way thanks to our close personal chums the bookmakers.
